Death

Since apparently you guys haven't realized yet (and the project's "Leader" never made a public update), this project died with our coder quitting more than a month ago.

So, the EarthBound Zero Remake is on hold indefinitely.
Other words for dead.

An Update?

Our programmer is just about done making the text box programing. Also from what he has told me, he is almost done with the battle system and is making the smash attack system. I am sorry for the lack of updates, we have been doing all the boring parts of the project right now, mainly the programing.

Very Busy

I got accepted all honor's for next year so I am busy trying to keep my grades up, but don't worry, we are still alive. Tidal has been making some new songs that will be used in the demo. The demo will have the battle system and a few other things.

Game Maker Coders Needed

As you can see above, our spriting is moving along fine, but we need more people who can code using Game Maker. If you're interested let us know on the forums, we need a few more coders to keep this project moving.

Overworld Update

Not a real shot, but it's using all sprites from the actual game. No real news yet, we've been working hard on the battle system demo and we're almost ready to put it out. Just here to let you know we're not dead yet.

And here's some soundtrack for the music-hungry fans: The EBZR OST

With any luck we'll have the Battle System Demo up within a week or so, so keep checking.

Back in Action

Hey everyone, sorry we haven't had any updates lately. The team was busy and lost touch this last month, but now we're back with some new updates. Those NPC sprites up there are the latest we have done, courtesy of tebited15. Expect some Battle System updates this week, and for now see our new poll and enjoy the video below.

Battle System Update 2

Hey guys, finally got another update up. We've all been busy with school/life stuff, but hopefully updates will pick up speed soon. What we've got so far is getting Ana into the Battle System, although we're not finished coding her in yet. But she's there, as you can see in the screenshot above. Also, I finally figured out music combos, so there's a picture of that to the right. I'd also like to announce that the EarthBound Zero Remake and Toast Team Games in now affiliated with EarthBound Central and Saturn Valley Online., so make sure to check them out.

Our biggest news is for the upcoming Beta. It will be released in the next few weeks, and will demonstrate the battle system through a basic Debug Menu. Keep checking here, because this is where the info on it and download will be.

Check out our weekly polls, and join the discussion on our forums.
The next update should be sometime this weekend.

(Note: none of the screens shown are final. We're still messing around with naming fonts, but they will most likely be in the style of Ana's name.)
